Molly Brown (1867-1932) was born Margaret Tobin in Hannibal, Missouri. Her parents were Irish immigrants and survivors of the Great Famine. Brown was a survivor of the Titanic disaster of 1912 and it was the press who gave Maggie her famous nickname. Teacher and performer Lynn Rymarz will portray Brown in a one woman performance.
Tea with The Unsinkable Molly Brown is Saturday, April 1 at 11am. Tickets are $25 for adults and children 12 and under are $8.
