The History of the Fifth Province Pub: Our pub, The Fifth Province, is a traditional Irish pub designed like those in Ireland that is a gathering place where the community discusses news and sports and listens to live music. The founding tradesmen of the Center – stonemasons, carpenters, woodworkers, tile-masters, and pipefitters – built The Fifth Province using items from the building, the former Mayfair School. The handmade service bar uses wood from the school, and the bar’s countertop is made from the school’s chalkboards. The handset stone hearth with cast iron cooking arm and pots evokes earlier days of simple home and countryside.

Today the Fifth Province continues the tradition of community gathering. We present local musicians every weekend and offer a pub menu of Irish fare and drinks. We also host get-togethers like trivia nights and readings. The building is wheelchair accessible. We have two parking lots with ample free parking.
