In addition to the great music and dance lineup, Irish Fest weekend is packed with festival favorites: Irish and American food and drink, Irish dance performances, cultural exhibits, children’s activities and vendors and artisans selling Irish clothing, music and jewelry.
Young Irish Fellowship Bags Tournament
Join IAHC partner, the Young Irish Fellowship Club as it raises money for charity, with its annual Bags Tournament at Irish Fest.
The tournament is Sunday, July 8 from 1pm to 4pm. The cost to enter the tournament is $25 per person, which includes Fest admission and tickets for 1 beer or soda. Day-of tournament tickets are $10, but do not include Fest admission or a drink ticket. There are prizes for the top winners.
The tournament is a fundraiser for the YIF’s charities Live Like John and the Mulliganeers. Check this space for registration.
Shamrock Tea Room
Drop by the Shamrock Tea Room at Irish Fest for a proper cup of tea, baked treats, sandwiches and live music in our air-conditioned Shamrock American Room.
The Shamrock Tea Room is open on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8 from 1pm to 5pm. The cost is $10 for tea, a sandwich, fruit and a sweet treat, or $5 for tea and a sweet treat. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Gingers of all ages can participate in activities all weekend to show their colors and strut their stuff.
ShamROCK Stars Singing Contest
Is your child a budding pop star? Does he or she have what it takes to be the next member of Celtic Thunder or Gaelic Storm? ShamROCK Stars, the popular singing contest returns to Irish Fest. The event is a singing contest for kids 18 and under. Contestants perform a traditional or modern Irish song for a group of judges.
THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO AMATEUR CONTESTANTS ONLY.
Auditions are on Saturday, July 7 at 1:30pm. On Sunday, July 8 at 2pm, a sing-off between the finalists takes place and the winners sing on the Folk Stage at 3:30pm.
