Irish Fest is fun for the whole family and kids 12 and under are free! The fest features children’s activities on Saturday and Sunday in our outdoor kids’ area with fun for the whole family. Kids can play group games, try their hand at arts and crafts, play in our bounce house, enter the ShamROCK Stars Singing Contest, enjoy visits from Irish Wolfhounds and learn Irish music and dance with lessons from local music schools and musicians.
Irish Wolfhounds are a breed of domestic dog; the tallest of dog breeds. These beautiful and gentle dogs will be at the Fest on Saturday and Sunday.

Is your child a budding pop star? Does he or she have what it takes to be the next member of Celtic Thunder or Gaelic Storm? ShamROCK Stars, the popular singing contest returns to Irish Fest. The event is a singing contest for kids 18 and under. Contestants perform a traditional or modern Irish song for a group of judges.
THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO AMATEUR CONTESTANTS ONLY.
Auditions are on Saturday, July 7 at 3pm-4pm in Room 111. On Sunday, July 8 at 2pm, a sing-off between the finalists takes place in Room 111 and the winners sing on the Folk Stage at 3:30pm.

Master falconer Craig Hendee of the International Conservancy works with 19 birds, including a pair of sibling Peregrine falcons; Alvin and Tommy, who join us on the Fest grounds on Sunday afternoon.
