Accordion player Jimmy Keane is a legendary figure on the international Irish music scene, His late father, Jimmy was an iron worker and sean-nos (old style) singer who encouraged him to take up traditional Irish music. Keane has achieved unprecedented success in competitive playing, having won five consecutive All-Ireland titles on the piano accordion.

He has performed with Irish music legends Liz Carroll, Mick Moloney, Robbie O’Connell, Eileen Ivers and Dennis Cahill. In addition to his solo work, Keane currently performs with bohola, Dennis Cahill, Liz Carroll, and Moloney, O’Connell & Keane. He was awarded Male Musician of the Year from Irish American News and co-wrote the soundtrack for the PBS documentary Irish Chicago.

Dennis Cahill is considered one of the world’s finest guitarists in traditional Irish music. His unique playing, accompaniment, and arranging are acknowledged as a major breakthrough for guitar in the Irish tradition. He has played for presidents and prime ministers.
Cahill is perhaps best known in his long musical partnership with Irish fiddler Martin Hayes. He is also a founding member of The Gloaming, an Irish super group who has astounded critics and audiences alike, winning the 2014 Meteor Choice Prize for their debut album. He has performed and recorded with many acclaimed Irish traditional music practitioners, including Kevin Burke, Liz Carroll, Seamus Egan and Eileen Ivers and has appeared in concert halls and festivals throughout the USA, Europe, China and Australia.
