Long before Oscar Wilde became a household name, his mother Jane was a celebrity in her native Dublin and beyond. A poet, essayist, linguist and campaigner for women’s rights, she earned a reputation as a fiery revolutionary in Ireland, writing under the pen name Speranza.
Actress Josephine Craven brings her portrayal to the IAHC, repeating her success from 2019.
