Cicada Summer Record Release Party in the Fifth Province

The Irish American Heritage Center is happy to welcome Cicada Summer to the Fifth Province for a celebration of the release of their new album, “Heartland,” this Saturday, August 13th.
Cicada Summer brews up a warm acoustic blend of bluegrass, Irish, and folk music spiced with a pinch of city flair. Its members are just as comfortable jamming onstage as they are playing at the local pub or pickin’ tunes on the back porch. Their energetic sets feature sunny vocal harmonies, folksy favorites, scattered fiddle tunes, golden oldies, and even the occasional pop-hit gone acoustic. Tap your toes and hum along to some strings on wings!
Saturday night the band will be joined by all-Ireland fiddle champion Lexi Kennedy and guitarist extraordinaire Andrew Serb.

The pub and kitchen open at 6:00pm, Cicada Summer plays at 8:00pm.
