The Family Tree – Our intro to genealogy course for this year will discuss where to keep your family tree, online or in an external program on your computer. Which is best for you, the researcher? We will also discuss the different programs available for you to use externally. Thursday, September 14th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Getting the Most Out of Your Ancestry Subscription – Tips and tricks on using ancestry.com for your research. Thursday, October 12th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Griffiths Valuation and Finding the Townland – Using Griffiths Valuation and other sources to help you find where your ancestors lived. November 9th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Blog Your Genealogy – Looking for a way to get your research out in the public and find more distant cousins? This will the the class for you. We will discuss the different platforms available for you to start with, as well as go over setting up a basic genealogy blog. January 11th, 2023,  7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Irish Records  – Learn to use the National Library and the National Archives of Ireland and Beyond 2022 in your genealogy research. February 29th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Researching Women – Strategies for researching your female ancestors, often obscured by male relatives. March 14th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Same Name Syndrome – We will concentrate on research skills to assist you in making sure you find the right ancestor – yours! April 11th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Civil Records vs Church Records – When researching in Ireland it’s important to know what records to turn to. This class will give you the basics of what you can find and what time periods will be covered. May 9th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Planning an Ancestral Trip – Planning an Ancestral Trip can take a lot of time. This lecture will touch on how you will know the time is right, as well as places you should add to your list, and if/when you should involve a travel agent. June 13th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20
