Our October Great Irish Book Club Book is “The Women Behind the Door”
Join us for our next Great Irish Book Club meeting at 2PM on Saturday, October 11, when we will discuss The Women Behind the Door (272 pages).
About the “The Women Behind the Door”:
Despite its ghosts, Paula has started to push her past aside. That is until her eldest, Nicola, turns up on her doorstep one day. Nicola is everything Paula wasn’t—independent, affluent, a loving wife and mother, a “success”—but now she is suddenly determined to leave it all behind.
This is a free event and we will meet in the Irish American Heritage Center Library.
This is our first Great Irish Book Club book for the season.
