Join us for our next Great Irish Book Club meeting at 2PM on Saturday, March 7, when we will discuss “Bright I Burn” (272 pages).
A historical novel reimagining the life of Alice Kyteler, the first woman accused of witchcraft in Ireland. Set in 13th-century Ireland, it tells the story of a wealthy woman who defies societal expectations and builds a successful business, only to face accusations and societal judgement as her wealth and stature grow.
This is a free event and we will meet in the Irish American Heritage Center Library.
This is our seventh Great Irish Book Club book for the season.
