The Palestrina Choir in Concert

The boys and gentlemen of the Palestrina Choir of St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral in Dublin, present an evening of sacred and Irish choral music at the IAHC this spring. The Choir, consisting of 25 boys ages 9 to 14, and 9 men is regarded as one of the finest Cathedral Choirs in Europe.
Since its founding in 1903, the choir has recorded and traveled extensively as well as singing each week at liturgies at the Pro-Cathedral, the Mother-Church of the Archdiocese of Dublin. It has performed throughout the world and had the honor of joining the Sistine Chapel Choir at the Papal Mass on the Solemnity of the Epiphany in 2013. They also sang for the 2018 Papal visit to Ireland for the World Meeting of Families.
The Palestrina Choir in Concert is Tuesday, April 30 at 7pm. The program is free. The choir is joined by special guests, the Irish Heritage Singers, who open the performance. Reservations are suggested and can be made by clicking below or calling 773-282-7035, ext. 10.
