Phil Coulter is an acclaimed Irish artiste with an international reputation as a songwriter, pianist, music producer, arranger and director.

The Songs I Love So Well celebrates Coulter’s storied career. With his warm Irish brogue and his distinctive keyboard style, he presents some of his most personal and best loved songs and tells the stories behind them; songs like “Steal Away”, “The Old Man”, “Ireland’s Call”, “Scorn Not his Simplicity”, “My Boy” and his classic, “The Town I Loved So Well”, voted one of the Top Ten most popular Irish songs of all time.

Coulter is one of the biggest record sellers in Ireland with numerous Platinum, Gold and Silver discs. His career spans more than five decades, garnering a Grammy Nomination for his Celtic New age album Highland Cathedral, two Grand Prix d’ Eurovision Awards and among other honors, the prestigious Gold Badge from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. His songs have been recorded by a wide range of global stars from Elvis Presley to The Bay City Rollers and a who’s who of Irish acts including Van Morrison, Sinead O’Connor, The Dubliners, The Irish Tenors, Celtic Thunder and The High Kings.
