Join us for a multimedia presentation in the IAHC Library this fall. Historian Jessica McCann discusses the origins of the RMS Titanic, the passenger liner that sank in 1912, after the ship struck an iceberg during her maiden voyage to New York City. The program highlights the origins of the Titanic, as well as the experience of the Irish aboard the ship, the majority of whom were third class passengers.

The lecture is in conjunction with the Tip of the Iceberg exhibit; St. Charles’ Ties to the Titanic at the St. Charles History Museum.

Titanic: Irish Ship, Irish Experience is Sunday, September 8 at 2pm in the IAHC Library. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by clicking below or calling 773-282-7035, ext. 10
