Exhibits and Tours

Irish Fest showcases the IAHC’s cultural offerings on its second floor Arts Wing. One of the jewels of the wing is the IAHC Museum, officially opened by the President of Ireland, Mary Robinson in 1991.

Museum acquisitions include an extensive collection of Belleek Parian China, a tapestry by Lily Yeats, a historic chair commissioned by the Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago on the occasion of the visit of U.S. President William Howard Taft on St. Patrick’s Day, 1910, a square grand piano dating from the late nineteenth century, an exquisite collection of Irish Lace and a series of historic maps showing the Irish contribution to European culture from the sixth to the twelfth centuries.

Drop by the Museum on Saturday, July 7 from 1pm-5pm and Sunday, July 8 from 1pm-5pm for a tours with one of our docents or just to browse the collection.
