“Welcome back” seems to be the theme for the Irish American Heritage Center in 2022.
On March 12, we could fling open our doors and welcome old friends and new ones to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a pint and some fellowship. And once it started, we just kept welcoming people back to the center.
Whether you joined us for one of our Thursday night Sessions at the Fifth Province Pub, a Dance Academy event, a concert in our Mayfair Theatre, a visit to our library, language classes, or shopping at our store, we say welcome back. We thank you for filling our beautiful building with the love and laughter that makes us return time and time again.
On behalf of the Board of the Irish American Heritage Center, I want to thank you for your support of the IAHC. Our mission is to steward the Irish and Irish American communities. For 40 years, we have hosted gatherings and events, dances, music, and cultural programs that bring the community together.
So that we may continue the work of our Founders and so many others, please donate to our 2022-23 Annual Appeal Campaign, the primary fundraiser for the Irish American Heritage Center. Your contribution, no matter the amount, is an investment in our future and is a testament to the work done by our great community.
The pandemic hit us hard and forced us to delay several necessary updates to our beautiful building. We must replace both parking lots and add air conditioning to our historic Mayfair Theatre. These updates provide safety for our members and guests and allow us to host music and performances year-round.
