2023 Fall Memoirs and Creative Writing Workshop Schedule

The schedule for Fall and Creative, Journal and Memoir Writing workshops at the Irish American Heritage Center is ready!

Everyone has a story to tell, and the IAHC Creative, Journal and Memoir Writing Workshops provide you with the opportunity to tell yours. Students perform in-class writing exercises, readings, and discussions. Class sizes are limited to to ten writers, so advance registration is strongly advised.

Join long-time IAHC Memoir community member Aileen O’Grady as she leads this year’s program. Aileen is a former teacher and tutor at Columbia College, and has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Columbia.

Session I classes are Tuesdays, September 12th from 1:00pm-3:00pm, through November 28th.

Session II classes are Wednesdays, September 13th from 4:00pm-6:00pm, through November 29th.

Each session is $60 per person, with the option to continue up to ten additional weeks for $10 per session. Classes are held in the Irish American Heritage Center Library.
