Irish singer/songwriter Rachel Walsh plays a FREE SHOW in the Fifth Province Pub on Friday, September 6.
A self-described “indie pop artist with Irish influences,” Rachel plays piano and sings both traditional music and her own original songs.
The Irish American News recently profiled Rachel – read it here (page 38). The article includes this about her music:
“In a 2021 interview with RTE, Rachel explained would describe my music as dark, contemporary pop. My lyrics are always honest and true to how l am feeling at that point in my life. The main instrument | play is the piano, so all of my songs feature the keys in some shape or form. Many people say that my first single Down Low sounded like it could be a theme song for a James Bond movie! A huge compliment to receive!'”
