Annual Appeal 2025: Strengthen and Preserve Irish Culture
The Irish American Heritage is a special place to so many, but it takes all of us to keep our heritage and traditions strong. As we look to 2025, our needs continue to be great as we work to preserve the beautiful building that is our Center and deliver more programs to bring even more people to our Center.
Thanks to your generosity and the success of the 2023-2024 Annual Appeal, replacement of both of our parking lots is imminent. We are waiting only for the release of promised grant funds that will cover the bulk of the project costs. This project will represent one of the biggest capital projects here in the last decade.
2024 Highlights: - Exceptional Concerts: From established stars and favorites like Phil Coulter, Kila, and Altan to newer artists such as Emma Langford, Aoife Scott, and The Bow Tides.
- Touring Theater Productions: We welcomed touring theatrical productions "Green & Blue" and "A Night in November" entertaining hundreds of attendees
- International Host: In October we welcomed the AICF (Association of Irish and Celtic Festivals) Conference to Chicago for the first time ever. Representatives from festivals and cultural centers all over North America, as well as the Consulate General of Ireland, Officers of Culture Ireland, and bands who traveled from Ireland to attend, enjoyed music showcases and great Chicago hospitality.
