Na Gaeil Chicago teaches and supports the Irish language (Gaeilge) across Chicagoland. Whether you want to learn Irish from scratch or pick up where you left off, Na Gaeil offers a welcoming, informal, and fun setting to connect with Irish culture, heritage, and new friends through the first language of Ireland.
As a longtime partner of the Irish American Heritage Center, Na Gaeil holds in-person classes at the IAHC (4626 N. Knox Ave., Chicago) as well as online classes via Zoom. Detailed class descriptions are available on the Eventbrite registration pages, and the Na Gaeil team is happy to help you choose the right level.
If you have no prior experience with the Irish language, the Fall 2026 term is your starting point. The spring term picks up where the previous fall term leaves off.
