Kids Day Camp
Next year's camp details — including dates, times, and registration — will be announced soon. Immerse your kids in the wonderful culture of Ireland for one fun week! Campers learn traditional Irish music on fiddle or tin whistle, play rhythms on the bodhrán and body percussion, and explore Irish songs, lilting, sean-nós dancing, the Irish language (Gaeilge), and Celtic arts & crafts.
Camp culminates on Friday with a recital for family and friends. Presented at the Irish American Heritage Center, and named in honor of Captain Francis O'Neill — Chief of the Chicago Police (1901–1905) and the primary preservationist of traditional Irish music.
