Nimble Thimbles is the quilting and fiber arts group of the Irish American Heritage Center, bringing together creativity, craftsmanship, community, and tradition through quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, needlepoint, tatting, and more. For years, this dedicated group of volunteers has played an important role in supporting the IAHC through handmade fundraising efforts that help sustain the Center and preserve Irish cultural traditions for future generations.

Known especially for creating the stunning annual raffle quilt featured at the IAHC Christmas Bazaar, the Nimble Thimbles also produce a wide variety of handcrafted items sold during festivals and events throughout the year, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Irish American Heritage Center. Their work reflects not only extraordinary artistry, but also the spirit of generosity and community that defines the IAHC.

Beyond crafting, Nimble Thimbles serves as a welcoming creative space where friendships are formed, skills are shared, and traditions are passed down from one generation to the next. The group is especially passionate about welcoming younger generations interested in quilting, sewing, fiber arts, or simply finding community through creativity and hands-on learning. All skill levels are welcome, and experienced members are always happy to help beginners learn.
