Get your Irish on at the 34th annual Irish American Heritage Festival on July 12, 13 and 14.

Irish Fest showcases the finest in local and international Irish and American music, dance and family activities. The festival is held on the grounds of the Irish American Heritage Center and is our biggest fundraiser.

In addition to stellar music and dance lineup, the weekend is packed with festival favorites: Irish and American food and drink from vendors, cultural exhibits, children’s activities and dozens of vendors and artisans selling Irish gifts. Activities include contests for adults and children, cultural exhibits and programs in the Art Gallery, Library and Museum..

Cultural Programs

Our second floor Arts Wing features an Irish language primer, genealogy workshops, music, theatre performances, and quilting, knitting and spinning demonstrations. Wexford born Chicago photographer Barry Butler showcases his Chicago and Ireland photography in the Art Gallery. Drop by the Shamrock Tea Room on Saturday and Sunday for a proper cup of tea, baked treats, sandwiches and live music in our air-conditioned Shamrock American Room.

Parking

Fest parking is free and a shuttle runs to the Center grounds all weekend from Wilson and Lamon to the front of the IAHC building.
