Queen Victoria was a force. A force that named an era. She was also a real woman with a life and love that transcends the era named for her.
Well known Chicago performer Ellie of ElliePresents brings Victoria to you, along with her favorite snack, Brussels biscuits. Come and have a cup of tea with The Queen. You might even get to ask her a question, as long as you are not a reporter.
Ellie enjoys bringing the Queen to audiences as she would have been in 1876, just when America was celebrating the centennial of its dependence from her ancestors. She has some things to say about being the most powerful woman in the world, as well as life, marriage, and many, many children.
Join us at the Irish American Heritage Center for our first tea of 2023, Tea with Queen Victoria. Saturday, February 25th at 11:00am.
