Beginning Genealogy – Not sure how to start building your family tree? This workshop teaches methods for those beginning their genealogy research. Thursday, September 15th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Where Should I Keep My Family Tree? – There are many options available to help keep your family tree intact. In this workshop, students learn the various ways to house ongoing research and results. Thursday, October 13th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Spreadsheets and Genealogy – Spreadsheets are a great place to review and analyze research you have collected and can be used to assist in culling information from the records. Join us as we review how to use spreadsheets in your ongoing research. November 10th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Irish Civil Registration and Church Records – In this workshop we focus on using civil registration and church records to trace family in Ireland. December 8th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Digging into Griffith’s Valuation – Griffith’s Valuation, one of Ireland’s premier genealogical resources provides detailed information on where people lived in mid-nineteenth century Ireland and their property. This workshop digs deeper into the locales of our Irish ancestors. January 12th, 2023, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

National Archives Ireland – The National Archives of Ireland houses many resources for your research. This workshop focuses on using the Archives to continue your research. February 9th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Primary vs. Secondary Sources – Learn the difference between primary and secondary sources in genealogical research. Did you know that some records can be used as both? In this workshop we review sources and how they can be used in your research. March 9th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Analyzing Your Data – Utilizing the genealogy proof standard, see if your research has what it takes to pass the test of a professional genealogist. Join us as we dig deep into our research problems and see if we have what it takes! April 13th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Putting Meat on the Bones by Adding Social History – Without social history, your genealogy is a bunch of names and dates. Learn how to research your family’s social history to add to your data. May 11th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20

Going Beyond: One-Name and One Place Studies – Have you taken your family back as far as you can in Ireland? This workshop offers help in gaining a better understanding of your surname or location of interest. June 8th, 7:00pm-9:00pm. $20
